Well, we personally went through different 69 pickup brands and they all turned out to have a weaker output than what they were supposed to have.
The reason for this is that nowadays the big brands use cheaper coil wires with not so good tolerances, and most of them are not wound by hand anymore like they were back in the day, today machines are in charge of winding pickups with the coils so perfectly aligned that less coil wire is used and more capacitance in the coil is generated (Not desirable).
So even though their pickup coils are wound the same number of times, as back in 69, they unfortunately will end up having a
weaker output
